Can I start out buy just getting the flasher first then a few leds?

I'm sure somewhere in this huge thread my question is covered but I'll ask anyway.

I got a set of aftermarket tail lights with a parts truck li bought recently and they take the factory bulbs, I want to put led bulbs in them when I mount them on my rig and I know there's something else I need besides the led bulbs to make them flash.

So can someone post a link up for me for good quality led bulbs and anything else I might need?

I just used the 3156 and 3157 LED's from AutoZone for mine before I switched to aftermarket LED taillights. Superbrightleds.com sells excellent bulbs as well which is what I use now. Didn't need a load resistor for the taillights for some reason, but I did for the front turn signals.

Thats what just my interior is going to cost to replace them all with LEDs. The exterior is another $30-40

Oh really! I thought the rear LEDs didn't draw enough juice to make the flasher flash?

No, they just use so little energy that it tricks the normal flasher relay into thinking there is a faulty bulb. You'd be getting hyper flash 24/7 without it.

Which would look better? 120* or 360* angle LEDs? 360* seems pointless since its aiming at the front. Im getting cool white since the tint on mine is blue not green like the 99-2003 trucks.
