I took out the black housing. But it is plastic riveted together, so I had to use a pair of pliers to get a grip on the bulb

Yeah did you get the fragments out and the new bulb in?

Yeah nothing got into the socket cause the bottom of the bulb was still screwed in

Idk why but my door lights weren't working and I just pulled the red plastic cover off and there's not even a bulb in there

Then that means your style truck didn't come with them if it has a red cover over it. If it has a clear/ white-ish cover and no bulb, then the light probably fell in the door panel

It's a reflector so if you have your door open by the road at night people see
