I replaced my under-the-hood 912 bulb with a couple of festoon LEDs, hardwired into an old bicycle light assembly. (OK, it was a phone camera, but this does throw a lot of light)

a little more...
step/courtesy - 194 Bulb, can fit some oversized bulbs
Map lights - same as dome - 578 festoon
glove box - 194 bulb
Cluster for 97-98 - 194 Bulbs
I think that's all of them for interior lights, I have all the sizes needed for dash lights in my Cluster color swap thread which browningSCrew added above

Also, the bulb holder on the license plate light is too loose to hold the LED bulbs so you have to kind of push the metal prongs in so it gets a good connection and lights up

On my '98, the bed lights in that assembly were 4W 194s. The center 3rd brake light was a 912. And that one, has part of the plastic warped from the heat (Atlanta traffic always has you on the brake). I replaced the bedlights with 194s that had 10 LEDs in them, and the brake light with one that had 18 LEDs (longer, not wider).

It all depends where you get your LEDs from, too. The ones I got from China off Ebay had a thinner base, and one thin wire lead for + and -. These did require a needlenose pliers to close up the contacts. The ones I got off Superbrightleds.com were as thick at the base as the incandescent bulbs that came out, so no adjustment of the contacts were necessary. The ones from Superbrightleds.com are of higher quality, and one has yet to fail (I have about a 50/50 mix of vendor LEDs on mine.
