Default 97-03 bed swap

Hey, what's up community? Last week I purchased a 99 single cab, short bed, 4.6 5 speed. Nice solid truck for what I paid for it. It does have a few rough spots on the bed (expected for a 17 year old truck). But would really love to swap on a flareside. Question I have is, what model flareside short beds will work? I found a same model truck that is parting out. But it is a ext cab 4x4. Heard it will still work. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

I think one would fit, but honestly, I'd repair the suspension first. Looks as though something is terribly wrong. Did you purchase oversize tires or something ? Somethings screwed up...looks beet.

Flare side beds a flare side bed. It'll fit.

Only difference I can think of would be, the little mud flaps on some me not all. They can be taken off though.

Oh yeah and fender flare trim.

They will swap out perfectly. Make sure to pre order new bed bolts, you will need them.

Not always necessary. I have had my bed off twice, all original bolts. However a few have hex nuts welded on them because I broke my last torx bit getting them out :thumbsup

Is the 6.5' flareside bed composite like the Supercrews?
