60K mile service question
I just got a Haynes manual, and it doesn't seem to show the stuff on my truck as well as I had hoped ... I got it so I can do the 60,000 service (I have 73,000 on my 2001 Supercrew --- yah yah I know...). Anyway, the book shows the lube points for the front suspension, but I can't find any covers or lube points on the upper or lower ball joints. Are they sealed or something? The only lube points I can find are the ones for the steering rack.
Also, how do I get at the plugs? I've changed plugs before, but these look like I have to get the valve covers off to replace them?
Thanks in advance for any advice

i wouldnt be surprised if the OEM balljoints are sealed. The ones on my car were, but if the boot is ripped, the balljoint is compromised. Anywho, the plugs are uber easy, you do not remove the valvecovers. They are at the top of the head, just take off the COP, and you are there. Also, do yourself a favor and run Seafoam through the top end of the motor to clean out the carbon.
