According to my calculator - - 4.5" = 114.3 mm, so the answer is no.

Yeah, I asked a question about this a little while ago and got no responses.

I saw a contractor at my unit with a 97-98 F150 with Aviator (Explorer) wheels on it. They surely appeard like they were not new additions.

I am almost 100 percent sure that explorer wheels will not fit on the 97-03 f150s . Were they navi or expedition rims?

If you were directing that toward me... the answer is neither. I asked the guy about them and he stated he got them off his buddy's Aviator that had been totalled. I specifically asked him if he were sure it was not a Navigator, and his response was "No, the Aviator. The one that is Explorer sized. Navigators are bigger.". I wish I had time to ask him if they were direct fit or he had to hog them out a little but I didn't and the center caps were on so I could not see the lugs.

he is either mistaken or he somehow modified the rims because explorer rims are the same as the ranger rims and they are 5x4.5 which definitely do not fit.
