just to clarify, I have an extended cab, so they won't work with no modification?

quick question! Will the rain seal be able to go back over the brackets or will it just have to be like it is in the picture?

good question! Are you talking about the rough country mounts? If so i imagine it is possible to take the seal up, mount them and then replace the seal. In the pictures he just pinched the seal which I'm not a huge fan of.

I installed roof lights like the f250 have. I just drilled holes in my roof and ran wires from under my head liner. Then ran it down the side channel through the door. Tied it into my
Parking lights.

well I got to thinking about it and I think with the door shut the rain seal from the door will keep it weather proof, I'll look into mounting under the seal and pinching it up like that guy did!

A little late to join the party but I just ran the wire through the roof. Dont have any pictures atm, but with a little waterproofing, it has worked fantastic for me.
