Default 5" RCD lift on 7700 F150

Has anyone used RCD's 5" lift for F150s with E4OD transmission on their heavy half ton? Did any modifications need to be made to the kit or to the truck? My only other option is the ProComp 4" lift which I know will fit out of the box, but to the extent of my knowledge, the RCD kit is of much better quality. So I'd like to go with it if at all possible. Any and all information regarding lifting these oddball trucks is greatly appreciated.

I figured that for the RCD kit. That's not too much of a concern though. I'm worried more about any welding, cutting, or any fabrication in general that may need to be done.

I'd also go with the Zone 6" to be honest. Its a much better built kit. For some reason the 7700's sit up high with a 6".

I thought it said RCX. The RCD kit is one of the best riding kits I have ever dealt with. THe fact that it comes with Bilsteins is a great factor. How much height are you actually looking for?

I have RCD on my truck but it is with the 4R70W mission not the E40D. I can say that I did not have to make or fabricate a single part for the kit, it had everything. I did not have to buy one single additional part to make it work. Mine was the add a leaf option vice the block option. RCD is pricey compared to some of the other makers, but well worth it.

I would like to clear a 35x12.5 tire with some room left for flex. And I wasn't aware that Zone made a 6" kit for the 7 luggers.

No one make a kit dedicated to the 7700's. Zone makes a 6" that will give you more tire clearence than you'll ever need. But you will need bigger u bolts because you have a bigger rear diff than a basic F150.
