5.4 vacuum lines
I'm getting a new intake manifold at the end of the month since the old one cracked, so I figured I should make sure I have all the parts ready to go and I remember where all the vac lines connect. The only line I am having a problem remembering where it goes is the red line that comes off of the throttle body on the left side with the black and the yellow line. Can some one tell me where this red line goes? Or better yet post a pic? And the yellow one is supposed to go into the solinoid beside the break booster and the green goes on the EGR right? Thanks

Red one goes to the fuel pressure regulator on the drivers side (I just had it off yesterday).
I am pretty sure the green goes to the EGR, but not positive. I could check in the morning.

That's y I couldn't figure it out! Haha the fuel rail is with the intake in the garage. The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail right? Thanks

Yup.
Red to fuel pressure regulator, yellow to thing on firewall, green one on the EGR (it is a black one that comes off the intake and goes to a "T" fitting, then turns white to a solenoid near the EGR, then turns green).
My red one is disconnected in the pic, but the regulator is right there.

I am going to check compression.
The drivers side of the engine is not working, so I am trying to figure that out. I had pulled the injectors to check them (they are fine) and just have not bolted the fuel rail back up since the #7 COP bolt is right below the regulator.
See the link in my sig for all the fun details.

I got a 5.4 that does not want to go over 40 and in checking the fuel pressure it was bouncing between 25-35 but it did not go to 40-50 when I took the vacuum red line..however I could not figure out IF the red line is supposed to have vacuum all the time or part time or if my line is broken..when I pulled it it made no difference on the engine idle or running that I could tell....ANY info is GREATLY appreciated being chasing this issue for 3 weeks
