Keep IATs lower and not run crazy amounts of timing and you will be ok.

I have a buddy with a 01 Supercrew lifted on 38" tires that ran a 6# lower and it ran low low 14s in the 1320. And is still on the road today. Been running the 6# lower for going one 8-10yrs.

BTW what fuel pump will you be running? FYI a single 255lph will support a 6# lower and stock upper.

Thanks Wayne. Do you know what kind of timing they were pulling? We're going to add some extra fuel to keep temps down

I picked up 3 255's if you need an extra.

I ran 13* of timing on my L powered Supercrew on 38"s with a 4# lower. I can't say for sure what timing he was running but I'd say it was around the 12ish mark. We both were around the 11.4-11.6 A/F @ WOT. He also ran LTs and a ported blower.

We both ran a single Bosch 255LPH pump with stock lines and 42# injectors.

I def cant be running a single pump. Dave you might get away with it. Espeically with stock internals... may not need the extra pump as long as you are too lean.

I like my nice thick 3/8" flanges. the seal great with copper gaskets.

An before Z7What comes in I only used copper because I live near the beach and the headers were ceramic coated and the coater didnt complete clean the mating surface and I did have time to have them reground flat.
I'm running the pacesetters also. I had a slip flange made to slide over the LT slip and had two tabs welded, one on each side of the flange, with a hole drilled in them to slide a bolt through and tighten together. The pacesetters have been great with no leaks in 20K and are easily remove able because of the bolted slip flange.

Those GSS 342's are tough pumps. Pulled the plugs and the old ones were really rich. No detonation, probably because my cylinders were getting hosed with fuel

The good news is the new plugs are gaped a bit better and my tune will have alot more room for power judging by how rich the truck was running. We will probably add some timing as well.

Got the new lower pulley on and did an EGR delete too. Just need to get that damn stud out. Should have it up and running in a week or so. Got some dyno time reserved!! If i can be around 400RWHP and 500RWTQ ill be stoked. Looks very possible.

What does deleting the EGR do?
