hey everyone im new here and im sure this question has been beat to death but i have the electronic 4x4 its a 2003 super crew and the damn thing hardly ever works when i need it... i did do some searching and found that its usually a vacuum line, solinoid or the shift fork. i had the guy at firestone check the vacuum lines and the solinoid and he told me they all looked good so i guess my last option is unfortunatly the shift fork? how difficult and roughly how much $ will this cost me.. ive seen somewhere around 800 bucks through the dealer so id like to try and give it a shot myself.. im no mechanic but im usually pretty good at figuring things out
