Default Airbag Helper Springs

Going to buy some airbags to help trailer and bed capacity for my truck. What brands do you guys use? How well do they work for our trucks? We have them on all of our 2014 Superdutys at work and they are a pleasure to use. Please don't tell me to just buy an add a leaf kit, that's not what I want.

Thank you

They work awesome. Only flaw is the plastic lines leak when it gets cold. But its easy to replace them with metal lines.

Do you have these on your truck?

Ya, I run them on my 7700, and they work awesome. I have a few trailers I pull on a semi weekly basis, and they have always worked perfectly. Again, the only issue, is up here in Canada, when you get to -30, the plastic line quick connects will start to leak. But it's an easy fix.

Here is an example of them, pulling fairly loaded trailer. With a good amount of tongue weight as you can see by how the trailer is loaded. And my rear end if just barely below stock height.

Also, if you have a fifth wheel, buy the kit that incorporates the fifth wheel mounts. I didn't, and it was a bit more work, than just a regular bolt on.

Nice man, I don't tow quite as often as you but it would be nice to have when needed. Only thing is I do some hard off-roading where the suspension flexes out completely and I've been told they either limit flex or can pull the bag apart at full droop. Ever have any problems with that?

I have the firestone kit and it's great! I can hook up my 18' equipment trailer with a full size truck loaded on the trailer and my supercrew sits level with 60lbs in the bags. If I air them up higher or to there max of 100psi then the truck sits higher in the back when loaded.

As for the off road thing. My airbags can handle the axle at full droop, but if your worried about it daystar makes I air bag mount for such situations.

I take my truck offroading down trails, through the bush, into mud etc, and it does see a fair amount of flex, but I've never had an issue with the bags ripping apart or breaking. I probably should watch out for that more though....
