Default 4R70W behind lighting engine
I can't find any info on this trans/lightning subject. Can anyone give me some specific things to ask for when I take my transmission to the shop to have it built for my ford lightning engine swap in my 1998 F150 with 37s and 4:88 gears. So far I have : high stall converter, shift kit, big trans cooler. What more?

Are you sure it's 4R70W not 4R100?

Does your truck have a 5.4 or 4.6 currently? It will be rough on a 4r70. You will even need a different converter.
