Default 4.6 probloms when damp

i know this is a f150 fourm but i have a 4.6 expedition its a 2000. after it rains or has been humid the expy doesnt have any power. and it will gain its power back when i push the pedal to the floor. there is a check engine light on but the mechanic wasnt able to read the code. so he cleared it and it came back on. what do you think on this.

1997 ford f-150, moisture on #4 plug replaced wires went away, check boot for cracks or apply di-electric grease to boot before reinstalling, see if that helps
