4.2L running really bad
The truck is a 2003 f150 4.2L. The problems all started when i got some really horrible gas in corpus christi. At first the truck lacked lots of power and pinged out real bad over 3500 rpm's. So i did the whole fuel injection treatments and watched where i got gas. I didnt let the fuel drop below 1/4 tank. Three weeks ago, i was out and couldnt get to the gas station in time. It ran horrible so i dropped the tank cleaned it out. Changed the plugs and wires also. Fuel filter swap too. Now the truck runs worse than before.'Also after the treatments it ran good for the whole time until i let it run low.

In replacing the plug wires could a couple be crossed? On my coil for the right bank, its 1-2-3. For the left bank, its 5-6-4. This is as viewed from the top of coil, front to rear. Just a thought.

I figured you'd get him going in the right direction Bill!
I've done it before man, it's not hard to get crossed up. I realized about 2 minutes after cranking it up and it bucking around like a horse!

Found the cause, the coil i bought at vatozone was bad. The intake gaskets were also leaking. And to top it off, both of the right side catalytic convertors were bad. After all that ,it runs like a champ again. Thanks for all the input and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!!
