Zip ties won't work, they are pressed up to the rock guard. I picked up some superglue with the blue caps at walmart and then stopped by autozone and got some 3M extra strength tape. I just tried the tape and it looks like it is holding pretty good. If that fails I'll move to the superglue.

I used quick dry epoxy on mine and it's held up.
