Default 3M LED light strip ISSUE

Hey guys, just wired up some led strips to the under body of my truck, along the underside of the truck. Took it for a 3 minute test drive through the neighborhood and got back to see the passenger light strip dragging.... wtf not even on the truck for 10 minutes and it no longer sticks!?!?! It says 3M on the sticky side peel that I removed.... anyone have this issue or know of a way to keep my lights up?

Now that my truck is getting a new motor and staying out of the mud,I'm doing blue lights under it,in the wheel wells and inside the bed to match the interior. Should look pretty cool!

You probably didn't get the panel you stuck to good and clean. The adhesive isn't super strong to begin with and will let go if not cleaned enough. But it'll also let go when it gets hot too as previously mentioned.

Well I cleaned it with rubbing alcohol, wiped it down and let it dry, guess I'll just have to glue it down

Get the 3M body molding tape. It has been holding the window scoops on my 06 mustang scence 06 and that is in the hot Florida weather and driving at high speeds.
