It can be done at home, but I prefer taking it to a shop. A lot of people prefer doing it by them selves, I just prefer to spend the 200 bucks for a life time alignment (or you can do it at 60 bucks each time at the shop I go to). This way I just take the truck in every 6 months and I know it is done right. Make sure what ever shop you go to gives you a print out though so you can see where your alignment is.

I can't tell you for sure, but it raises the suspension. Look at when trucks jump and the suspension unloads, you can see the camber in the wheel. I think it would just affect the camber, but again, not sure.

Hey guys, need some advice on what size tires to get. Right now I have 265/75/R16. I want to get a little bigger size but don't want to lose performance. Looking for the cheapest and simplest way to get a bigger tire to fill out space. Recommendations? Also would I need new wheels or should I get new wheels? Thanks

Bigger tires make you lose power, 265's to 285's won't be a big difference though.
285/75R16 = 32.8X11.22R16
You can go to the first page of by build thread to see my truck on 285's. I have an Scab though, not an Screw.
