Default 35s?

Hey guys, I have a 2002 f150 SuperCrew on stock 17s and I was looking to beef it up a little. I know I can fit 33s with 2in level or crank, but I want to fit 35s. I dont want to do body lift so I looked at other small lifts and found a 3in front torsion key and 1in blocks for rear. Will I be able to clear 35 a/t's? Any info helps, thanks.

If you crank the full 3" out of those keys you'll wear your front end out extremely fast. Just get a set of keys with no rear block and crank the truck up to 24.25" hub to fender, the maximum height you can go without wearing it out. With stock wheel offset you'll be able to fit 35's with minor trimming.

Should I be expecting bad rub or just a little at full lock? Also, I will be towing a 20ft bass boat here and there, will I have any issues in the rear?

If you run 35s on a screw you will have to do a little trimming. I had to do a little trimming to be able to leave the tire shop. Then trimmed more when I got home. Haven't had any trouble since then. I rub at or near full lock from time to time depending on angle truck is setting at.

I've towed an 18 ft enclosed trailer loaded up moving without problems after trimming.

The treadwright are great! I got the guard dogs in 285/70/17 and don't have a single compant about them. They didn't make the bead to bead in my size when I ordered (idk if they do now) but really the only way to tell that they are a re tread is if you are looking for it (other than the Mt patern on BFG AT sidewalls). And yes they always send out 4 matching side walls, you can request what type but there is no promises that you will get the requested type. I requested Goodyear mtr side walls so the tread matched, but they said they wernt sure when they would be in so I just told them to send any AT or MT side walls they have. Seems like they send the majority of there tires out with BFG AT side walls. The guard dogs arnt really that loud on the road, you can hear them but it's more of a white noise and really easy to tone out. As for tread wear I can't say much about it cause I just got the tires in the beginning of September but they look brand new still. I havnt taken them any serious off roading, but they havnt got me stuck yet. They also do pretty good in the rain for an MT tire. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow (I think there may be some in my build thread) and I'll take an in cab video. I know the questions about the treadwright were a few days ago, and they were answered but if any of yall have any more questions about them just pm me

Minor trimming done on the plastic guard on the bottom of the bumper on each side.

I agree, looks 10x better when front and back match. I wish they weren't so dang expensive!
