2wd spindle lift question

2wd spindle lift question
I did some searching and didn't find the answer I'm looking for, so here I am.
I'm trying to figure out of it is safe to do a 3 inch spindle lift/leveling kit, while also using daystar spacers in the front. I constantly see people doing stuff like this, using different lift options in conjunction with eachother, but is that the safest thing to do? And would I have to get the steering stabilizer if I did that? Also I cannot seem to find any pictures of just a 3 inch spindle lifted/leveled truck on 265s.

You can do the spacer it will dramatically reduce ride quality and cause accelerated wear on you front end components.
I have just the 3in spindle lift from rough county with the2in block In the rear it looks amazing and just enough lift to go over anything
I'll post a pick next.

Yeah you can. I had my old 2wd setup like that. Like mentioned it will be harder on your front end components and you will lose some upper control arm travel as well. I ran 3.5'' (at the time) rcx spindles with a 1.5'' daystar coil spacer up front with 3'' blocks in the rear with 285-75-16 mt's. It wasn't terrible on the front end but after about 2 years my front end started to squeak with the added spacer. I don't really have too many pictures of that truck on this computer. Here are some I do have.

Awesome, thanks guys, I think I will just go with the 3 inch spindles, I might do the spacers considering I also just ordered new control arms, ball joints, and bushings.. I donno. The reason I want to is because I'm afraid that once I get the spindles on I will want a little more height. But I also want the back end to be level so I'm not sure. And i figure since I'll be replacing everything and adding a lift, now's the time to decide whether to add a spacer, not after the fact. Also what about a steering stabilizer? I've read you only really need it if your tires are bigger, mine are 31s or 265.
And very nice pics, I love the height of the white one.

You shouldn't need a steering stabilizer if you just do spindles. Spindles alone won't kill your ride or how your truck tracks down the road. If you add the spacers, I would suggest the steering stabilizer. Mine (the white one pictured) traveled all over the road after I added the spacers up front, it was fine before. Wish I would of thought of a stabilizer back when I owned it.. It was one of those things where I was fine working the steering wheel a little more to have the look I wanted. It wasn't ever an issue for me, but something for you to keep in mind. If I was going to do it all over again, I wouldn't have spent my money on the 3.5'' spindles, I would have saved a little longer and bought the 7.5'' fabtech lift and been done with it. It will sit level and provide the height for 35s which most everybody wants to do eventually.. If I still owned that truck it would be on that exact set up now. You will need alignment after whatever lift you decide to go with though.

This is before any lift at all and I'm just afraid 3 inches won't make me happy enough.
