im not one to put a 6 inch lift on my truck unless its for the mud, especially if its a 2wd. if you want a lift, go with a leveling kit and some all terrains. putting 6 inches and mud terrains on a 2wd is pointless. yeah, it does look good but no mud or terrain you will be capable of going through with your lack of drivetrain will put that to good use.

just some of my opinions.

hey I have a 4x4 f150 fx4 and if you are serious about playing in the mudd you really dont want to do anything to a 2wd truck. you live like maybe an hour from me and there are places around here that are awsome to go. You will have no chance with a 2wd truck.
If that is all that you have to work with. I would do a 6in rancho lift, 35 in tires, and definately would do a posi traction rear end.

Bro a 2wd with a beast *** locker or limited slip with some wide mud tires with some kind of lift to help you get through the deep stuff is enough to have some fun which is what everyone wants to do when going off roading. Just make sure to go with friends in case you get stuck which you will, everyone does, and also bring some tow ropes. Its possible with a 2wd but your better off with a 4wd.

I just picked these up today

Here is some action shots

Here is a stuck one lol

Default lift on 2wd

Another reason to put a lift on a 2wd might be just to get more ground clearance, driving over rocks, bushes ect.
