I've installed aftermarket HIDs on all my vehicles for years and never had this problem. Maybe a wiring issue. Mcculloch is a great HID company. I always go with 8k.

Well if you do buy new ones go with Mcculloch. I've had them for years on my cars and they have been great! There may be others good ones out there but I've only experienced Mcculloch.

The only time I had bad radio reception was when I decided to buy a really cheap set of HID's. When I had the set that was 160 bucks they were perfect!

Lifted 98, I am also thinkin about gettin HID's for the headlights and foglights and i was wondering did you have enough wire to tuck the ballast away on the fog lights , im just a little concerned that might get damaged

There should be plenty of room to mount the ballasts for the foglights. It may take some time but I've seen it done.
