run the codes and replace the parts that need to be replaced. What is used to do has no bearing on what it does now.

then you need to replace the solenoid and the other code(s). What codes did you get?

had a buddy look at it today he traced it back to a bad connection in the harness coming in to the main fuse box under the hood he fixed the connection and replaced a blown fuse took care of everything

he said he got a wiring diagram and just started tracing out the power wires and finally found the bad connection but mine was throwing codes on all of the solenoids and a few other things, would check that before buying anything it saved me a lot of wasted money

Look guys, someone posts on here asking for help, hoping for a little advise to save the much needed money, so he can buy another gallon of fuel, and all you do is say, replace the parts. If you are a dealer mechanic, then remember, we are not at your shop. For all those who post, remember to K.I.S.S keep it super simple. Electrical issues, start with fuses, relay and harness connections, check for ground faults. The codes sent by the computer do not give you the whole story. Do research. I have found a dealer whom will start simple and replace only what is needed, when needed, he now gets my entire fleet. The last crack head tried the "tranny is Bad" trick, replacing a simple relay fixed the problem and that was with me looking. He lost a large account. HONESTY.
