I recently had an issue with right rear turn signal not working and indicator was rapid. Research told me it was likely the multifunction switch. After a couple of weeks I noticed the left signal started doing the same. Bulbs were fine. I then noticed brake lights were out too. I finally identified the proper replacement part motorcraft SW5580 and replaced the switch. No change after replacing the switch. Any suggestions on cause? I read about some loose connectors causing similar issues. I wiggled my connectors and got no change but I am not sure how to check the connector more thoroughly or how to replace the connectors. Any advice is appreciated.
