Arrow 2003 F150 Harley Davidson error codes

Hi all in here, I am the proud owner of the only one 150 HD on the scottish Highlands. I always used to have Ford's truck since 1983. So not really green on this best selling truck. Right, truck run super fine, no troubles at all , consumtion same as usual, not increased and not less. Good on all the 8 cyl, idle superbly and to be honest is like having a new engine under the bonnet, even at 73k miles. Use to be serviced and repaired by myself and recently the old good pal "service engine soon" light come up to my truck as well. I tought at a bad tank of petrol, topped up at supermarket instead of brand petrol station. Did all my fault findings, but puzzling about truck running so fine, speedo is correct, shifting gear sweetly as new, and even in towing, no problem at all, cruise control working.... No other places on the scottish highlands to get plugged in to diagnostic, so had to visit local dealer, and codes P0500, B1365 and B1318 came up and no way to cancel them, curiously, after the first attempt to cancel them light went off but after the test drive, the codes were still on but not the light... I am tempted to just dont bother in knowing codes still there until light stay away. Any one had this before? Thanks a lot from old scotland

P DTC's

P0500
= Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) A

B DTC's

B1365 = Ignition Start Circuit Short To Battery
B1318 =
Battery Voltage Low

Looks like you have a VSS problem along with a battery/circuit issue.

Troubleshoot the VSS, (most likely need a new one). Go over all your battery connections...check them out, clean them up.

Then erase DTC's, see what happens.

BTW- Erasing the DTC's is easy. Just disconnect the battery for a 1/2 hr. This purges the KAM, = KeepAliveMemory.

You can buy an OBD II code reader from Amazon.co.uk for about 13 quid.
The code system is specified (by the California Air Resources Board technical people) to indicate when a system or component is giving a false value that could negatively affect emissions. It may or may not affect drivability.

B codes can not be cleared by a typical code scanner.

Great, had a look but look like amazon is a "forest" full of those gadgets and with my luck I will order the one who are not designed for my 150... I noticed loads of differents cables and search did not come back with a ford one. Any help? Cheers
