Default 2002 fuel tank pressure stall

One month ago check engine light comes on. I had codes read and was told that problem related to gas tank pressure or pressure sensor, but was not a driveability issue. Light stayed on. Truck drove fine for a month. Two days ago truck stalled at start-up. Will start and run for about 30 seconds, then stall. Will start again if I wait about five minutes, but will again stall after 30 seconds. Also, fuel odor noticeable. Advice? Thanks for your help

If you can smell fuel strong then you need to check for a leak that would cause pressure loss.

Default Thanks for help.

Just so you know how things work out. Rodent damage to wiring had caused low pressure reading from sensor. Expected but unproven is that shorting out of gnawed wiring caused stalling of engine. Also, could have been fuel line icing. At the moment wiring is repaired and truck is running fine, with no problems. Happy New Year.
