Default Sliding window question

On my 2000 F150 Lariat on the latch side of the rear sliding window there's no seal. Only a gap that let's water in. Is there suppose to be a seal strip there?

Yes. On my power sliding window, it whistles in the wind and leaks during hard rains. I found out Ford has a kit to replace all the weatherstripping on all the sliding windows. I can't locate the part number for the kit right now, but there's also a TSB on it for wind noise. The same kit works for power and non-power windows. It runs about $40.

Thanks mkraffert! I've go to make a trip this week so I put a piece of foam in it for now. Will check into/order the kit when I get home.

The part number you need is:

Ford Part: KIT - REAR WINDOW REPAIR
Part NO.: 3L3Z-1542052-AA
Replaced By: 3L3Z-1542052-AB
