Default 2001 XL 7 lug f150

i just regestered to this site and it freaking rules. but i was hoping to get ya'lls opinions on my truck. i just bought it about christmas time. my question is what is the best chip for my truck,intake, and exhaust system. Thanks yall

for the chip, just about anything with custom tunes from troyer is good, the actuall best tuner is a heated debate, but troyer tunes seem to be a favorite, for more information on tunes, just search for "tuner" on this site, it has been covered quite a bit.

the same for intakes, just do a quich search, and lots of info will come up.

and for exhaust, I love my straight piped true duals.

thanks for getting back to me. i have a 2001 5.4 liter v*, doesnt it need back pressure??

You will lose some backpressure and result in a slight loss in TQ but with the right size tubing you won't be too bad off.

I wouldnt because you can get a muffler shop to do them same work at a MUCH better price, plus you won't find a manufactored straight pipe system.

so go with strait pipe what size?? and where do i cut the pipe back
