2001 lift suggestion.

2001 lift suggestion.
I've been wanting to put a lift kit (2"-3" maybe 4") on my 2001 XLT for a while now and I want it to be sturdy enough to withstand years of daily road driving, and of course be on the cheaper side. It will only be for aesthetic purposes.
I've looked around and countless kits and I've seen kits with full front knuckles as well as shocks for all corners and I've also seen simplistic spacer kits. I have also seen on other forums people cranking their torsion keys but I've heard this is not advised(any more input on this?)
So my question is: can anyone refer me a kit, preferably with a link, to get the desired height stated above in the low-medium price range?
Thanks in advance!

Just don't crank the keys past 24.25" from center of Hub to fender and you'll be fine. Also a body lift is the cheapest option (3") and it doesn't change any suspension angles just makes it feel a little more top heavy than stock. 3"BL will get you 35s underneath with some possible slight trimming of the lower valence.
Edit* also your mention of torsion bars made me think and just to make sure, you're 4WD drive right? 2WD doesn't have torsion bars so just one more thing to double check

Get a body lift if it's only for looks. They're under $200.

Whatever you do, don't get aftermarket torsion keys. It will ride like **** and break all sorts of suspension compoenents.
You can generally get away with cranking the stock torsion bar and stock keys. Yes, it's harder on the components, and yes it will ride stiffer. But you crank the stock keys without many issues. I've had mine nearly maxed for 3 years without issues. But cranking the stock torsion bar & keys are NOT going to get you 3-4 inches of lift. It was enough "lift" for me w/ 33 inch tires... And i never have to dick around with the suspension or alignments because its stock.
Best of all my "lift" was free, just stepped up the tire size and aligned it right after adjusting the T bars!

Go with the t-bar lift first. Depending on your clearances, you should be able to clear 35s just with that alone. I have my tbars set 24" exactly fender to wheel hub and I only rub the frame full lock when I turn left. I'm going to be adding a 3" body lift to my truck here in the coming months so keep an eye out for it as well.

I just did a 5" Rough Country lift and 3" body lift on 37's and still had to trim the front valence with the torsion keys almost maxed out. If I were you, I'd go with 3" body lift if you're going with 35's and be prepared to trim. I trimmed about an inch on of both sides and still rub severely while flexing. For my purpose of daily driving/mall crawler, it's does just fine though.
