Cycle For Fun and Health
You would be dollars ahead to sell it yourself.
Do some research on Craigs List and EBay Motors to see what similar trucks are selling for.

They will tell you anywhere from $1,000 to $6,000. In actuality, probably $0-500.
Honestly, you didn't give us enough info to get a good idea. Location? Condition plays a big role. It will also depend on what you're trading it in on and what price you are getting it for.
I don't know if you understand how dealerships work with trade ins, but basically their goal is to get your trade in for free and since you're here asking this question, my guess is they will take advantage of you but make you feel like you're getting a great deal with which you will be happy.

The more you spend on a newer vehicle, the higher they may offer for trade in since they will be making more money off of you.
It's like playing blackjack at the casino. The dealer has much better odds of winning than you do.
What they tell you they are giving you for your trade in is really irrelevant.
If they have a truck listed at 41k but need 35k for it, they may give you 2500 for yours but only go down to $37500 on the new one. Or if you get them to go to 5k, they may only come down to 40k on the new one.
It's math man. You're not going to win.

bought mine from the dealership for 7500 with 80k so whoever traded it in before I bought it got maybe 3k for it. kbb says for your truck you'd get 4k for the trade from an honest 1 ina million chance dealer lol. sell it yourself like mentioned and get a couple more k's from it.

If your buying a new vehicle from a dealer, never bring up the issue of trade until after the sale price of new vehicle is set.
This eliminates the deal Tackle mentioned.
Also be ready to walk when they don't agree to what you want.
