Default 2001 f150 4x4. Crazy build.

What's up everybody. My bad if I'm posting on wrong stuff lol. Just new to the site. And would like to share some about my truck. It's an 01, 4x4. Lariat. 5.4. 3.55 gears. Not many aftermarket stuff. Highfire coil packs. 40k volts. Cold air.
Got 35s on it!! No torsion lift. Factory height. And I am in process of disassembling a motor I pulled from a Navigator. 5.4 4v. Cleaning up the block, heads, ect. And getting ready for a forced air build!

Brushguard off. Painting to match the underside when i get to it lol

I dont think valves are supposed to look like that 😂🤣😂

Yep thats what happens when a 3v or 4v motor jumps timing. A good chance of knocking out the valves. Having motor cleaned up at a machine shop ect. Gonna be high hp build

High horsepower build? Are you gonna put different cams in it?

Yep. Different cams. Better valve springs, rockers, valves ect. Looking to supercharge or procharge. Just depends what comes my way. Forged everything.

I would try to make a torque monster out of it too as well as high horsepower. I know the 5.4 block can handle 500 hp but I've never seen one in person making anymore than that

Oh yea, torque is important. I'll never forget about that. And yea it's really hard to get 500 hp out of these motors. If you choose to run N/A. But I plan on a forced induction set up. Which is pretty limitless, from what I've seen. Hear of guys doing like twin turbos or whatever and making 1000hp no problem. Only advice I can give on that is don't use plastic timing chain guides

I dont think anyone on this forum would recommend plastic guides. Especially not for a high power build
