2001 4.6 Cam Phasers?

2001 4.6 Cam Phasers?
I have an 01 4wd with the 4.6. It has what I thought was the cam phasers making noise. (From watching a video that had bad phasers. Sounds the same) But I also read somewhere, that the 01 doesn't have cam phasers. Can anyone verify this either way for me please?

Your truck does not have the phasers.
The trucks did not get the 3v 4.6 till 2009.
It could be a loose timing chain due to a broken chain tensioner.
