2000 Ford F-150 Manuals
#1
Hey everybody,
I've got a 2000 Ford F-150 XLT Ext. Cab with a 5.4L Triton. I believe I'm suffering from the leaking windshield issue and causing problems with my gem. I'm also having issues with my check engine light and OD cutting in and out. Does anybody know where I can download all the manuals for the truck so I can try to do some DIY work on my own? Thanks.

OVERTHINKER
You can start looking here, lots of Lightning stuff but alot the same as a regular F150. http://www.lightningrodder.com/forum...read.php?t=225 I would recommend getting the Ford DVDs off ebay.

No manual really required for that job. I had a 2000 truck one time with all the same issues. Get your windshield replaced ASAP. Talk to the guys replacing it and let him know to not be shy with the chaulking.
As long as it keeps raining on your truck you will have all of those problems. When I canged the windshield all issues worked themselves out. Not saying that will happen to you but hopefully it will work that way.
I had enough when one day it was pouring, and after a long hard day at work i go out and the Battery was dead... the truck was actually trying to start itself during the day... the computer was winding the starter motor over and over and over. Of course though there was no fire, so she would start... kinda lucky i suppose as i could have tore up the starter as well as the ring gear!!! Anyhow that was enough... new windsheild a couple days later... that was in 2004. Truck now is still running like a bird, my cousin bought it from me... i think it as something close to 200k on it now!!! Crazy what some new glass can do!!! LOL. Hope this helps!!!
