2000 F-150 Blown Head Gaskets
I recently had both head gaskets blow on my 2000 F-150 5.4L 4x4 at 130k miles. I've heard this is a common problem and also heard there was a recall for 1999 5.4L F-150s for the same reasons and that Ford was taking care of the situation. Does anyone know of a recall because I cannot find any information on it? I really don't feel like spending $2500 on getting the head gaskets. Any information or tips to possibly get Ford to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Damm man, thats tough luck. Any details as to the overheating? Been out of the dealership thing for a number of years so can't offer the help requested. Just a mechanic and like to add to my so called data base.
