Default 2?? 4x4 IWE Solenoids

Hey everyone, I've spent the past 2 hours searching to to avail. I just replaced the IWE Solenoid with the newly revised one that prevents water from creeping in throw the cowl. I also repaired the pink and blue vacuum lines, they were BAD.

My question is why do I have TWO solenoids? Every forum post or pic I've seen they only have one? And even the replacement part came with one so I took one off the existing bracket and stuck on the new one. It had no cracks so I think it's ok. 4h and 4l works perfect now.

what year is your truck?

If it's 11th gen or newer they have a IWE in each wheel.

The 10th gen's only have one in the differential. In fact the 10th gens don't have IWE's....

Just a solenoid in the differential.
