1999 F150 4 X 4 4.6 with a 4R70W Tranny
Can anyone give me some advice on where to go next? I have this truck recently purchased with 114,000 miles and the Transmission has gone out of it. I was looking the Tranny over and noticed a Orange Decal on it that says

see TSB 98-4
Does this seem ominous to anyone like it does me? I have been wondering if there is something I can do to maybe get some compensation in the event of a Product Recall or something.
Can anyone advise at all on this subject? Sorry for the vagueness.
I don't know if this is totally blown or what. I have vibrations like I am running over speedbumps in 3rd gear.

The Crown Vics all came with that too. We didn't have any issues with any of them either. I worked in a fleet repair and they all had that on them. I can't remember what it was for though. If you want to try a used trans, search here. http://www.car-part.com/index.htm
