Default 1998 F150 XLT Door Panel Removal

Does anyone know how to remove the interior door panel on a single cab 98 XLT?

My speaker is blown and I need to change it asap lol

take off the door handle and trim that is just snapped on use a little pulling pressure and for the door lift stright up and out

I tried that. Didn't work. The door handle doesn't have its own piece of trim.

back top part of door, is a piler pull straight out, there is one screw here.
inside door handle that opens door,plastic cover pull off one screw here.
lift up on door panel.
if not take pic so we can see better

theres trim by your pilller that pills right off giving access to a screw

I'll get a picture tomorrow. I went to Autozone today and they were all outta Haynes manuals and don't know when they will get more :/

Did you remove the plastic panel that covers the mirror assembly? After you remove the door handle, that would keep the panel from being lifted off the tabs. That piece can be easily pried out. Speaker replacement is almost as easy.

This is the kind of door panel I have. I can only access the bolt that holds on the door handle and two body clips. One under the mirror access, the other under the other piece across the window from it
