Default 1998 F150 after filling gas

to all expert i need your help. It started when i filled gas on my way home. after filling up and driving for more than 100 kilometers my truck a 1998 F150 started to hesitate and slow down the speed, even though i floor the gas pedal, my maximun speed was 20 kilo per hour. i do know what happened but as far as my recollection was, the last stop to filled up gas. i suspected that i filled up a dirty gas. would this means that i have to take down the gas tank and empty it. or is there any way to fix the problem and also would this affect the performance of the transmission thanks.

Sounds like water, get some water removing additive. Run it for a while...

Yea I agree, sounds like water. Had the same thing happpen to me a while ago...except I was on fumes when I filled up so I didn't even make it out of the station. Got the gas station to reimburse me and pay for the time I spent fixing it

Being that bad I would also change out your fuel filter. I would get a bottle of heet, and run a tank of higher grade gas.

Bad gas for sure, try the water removing additive, and fuel filter for sure. I would throw in some Lucas gas additive just to make sure everything gets cleaned out of the injectors...
