1997 leveling kit
1997 f150 4x4 4.6L I thinking of getting a leveling kit for it. I know nothing about these kits. My questions r what do they normally run in price and how hard is the install? Thanks once again in advance

At the moment all I want is a leveling kit. Too many kids climbing in out of my truck. Looking at a some online I guess you need the 2" for 4wd.

yeah a leveling kits isnt bad at all... its 2 inches and i`ve had shorter people get in and out and i dont have the step either and it aint bad. im used to it... but if u want to do a levling kit go for it.. i was told u can run the stock shocks for it... i bought ones for 2-5inch lift incase i wanna go bigger... but i suggest buy the keys online for 100 and go to a local autoparts store and buy the blocks.. but make sure u find long u bolts... the ones that come in the kit are about 2 inches to short ( i leave about an ince above the nut.)

took 4 hours to finally get the right setup but i heated mine up and use a punch to knock them off... i mean i didnt get them cheery red i used a propane torch to get them off.. i didnt want to weaken the torsion bar.. then i went to advanced and got a puller i for got what it was for but to load the torsion bars with tension it worked out well...
