Default 1997 F150 Transmission model?
My 97 F150 4x4 has a 4.6 and a 5 speed manual transmission, It has some internal trans issues and I am going to try to diagnose and rebuild myself, what is the model # of the transmission that Ford put into this truck? I know theres a tag on it somewhere, but I have not pulled it yet, been raining the past couple days and havent had a chance to go out and look at it. Just trying to research parts cost before I get knee deep into it.
