1997 f150 Trailer wiring diagram
does anyone have a wireing diagram for the trailer harness.
I have 7-4 plug. Can't seem to get the lights correct. when i plug the two together.
white-ground
red-?
brown-?
green-?
black-?
white-?

Am not familiar with the 7-4 plug. But if you're looking for the color codes for a 4 pin trailer here goes. White is ground. Brown is running lites. Green is right turn/stop. Yellow is left turn/stop.

I've got the ground, green i set up as right turn. my issue is no Yellow wire and when i do hit the turn signal both light flash rather than just the right. I have a red, is this the left/stop?

Sorry for the confusion. I was talking the trailer harness. Use a test lite to find the left turn from the truck, this should go to the yellow wire from the trailer. Unless its been rewired using a non-standard harness. Hope this helps. Make sure the ground is working and we are not back feeding.
