trace the wires back to it, or check the fuse.

the fuses are good, tracing the wire is next to impossible, it gets lost in the manifold. i was told that there was a common ground in several spots for different items, i was curious if anyone new where they were. Thank you

Not sure but does this happen when it's wet out, or when it's raining? As for it being a ground problem maybe but I thought the dome light uses the switch as a ground to complete the circuit, grounded at the switch. So I'm not thinking its common but I don't know for sure. My 02 had the fuse panel under the hood on the drivers side, if yours is also there something either be getting wet or maybe something is corroded and causing this.

Check the body control module. Make sure its not getting wet. 150's had a problem with that for years. It is usually under the drivers side of the instrument panel. If you have trouble locating it I can look it up on alldata for you. I will be at 850-222-6864 until 5:30 Eastern time. I will be here all day tomorrow.
