Well, I'm thinking about trading the 97 off for a 7.3 sad to say.Any opinions?

that's a heavy truck! Heavy doesn't all ways mean good for off road but if it's a diesel that's been taken care of there known to run forever. But you need to make your mind up cause you need to STOP DROPPING MONEY INTO YOUR CURRENT TRUCK IF YOUR GETTING RID OF IT! Cause your never going to get that money back and I'm positive you would rather have to to drop into the new truck

I just got back to the guy today, he said I was too late he sold it already. :/

I don't know if I'm ready or set up for a diesel yet. They're a lot of money, but also a lot of fun.

I wouldnt want any 7.3 newer than early 99. Late 99 got PMR rods and will go kaboom around 400hp. If I get rid of either F150 it will be for a 6.0 or 6.4
