Default 1997 5.4 2v knocking at wits end

So I have searched and searched on this site trying to find a answer to my problem but I can't find one. I have a 1997 f150 4x4 5.4 2v triton that has a knocking noise coming from the oil pan not horrible can't hear it from the cab or the top of the motor with the hood up but laying underneath you can hear it almost like a diesel I have a video to listen to when revved up it does not get worse I can't even tell it's there unless I'm laying under the motor. I'm baffled
Video is not my truck but the same exact sound

Not much I'd do with that. Just make sure your running at least spec oil, oil filter (820s) and a Motorcraft (ONLY A MOTORCRAFT, no subs) PCV valve. That way she'll have good circulation and proper lubrication.

BTW, - I can hear my injectors clicking away when laying under truck. It's the injectors for sure, I scoped it. They echo inside the headers lol.

Mine sounds exactly like that. Worse when its cold out. Usually goes away after the truck is warm.

Idk what it is. Drive it till it breaks I guess.

Mine sounds like that too it's loudest underneath I thought it was the cats but maybe it's the injectors echoing like said above

Can't recall, it was awhile ago. Yea, it was a fail. I may have to pay Helga a visit. Some lady with that name..wait, I think it was Mahelga? Anyway, she had this big stainless steel syringe and pointed it right at the port on the side of my head. -Fired some crazyness into my noggin and it was like , idunno, - like I just picked a sea shell and gave it a listen....x10 I expect!

Well I bought it last year in August I think and can't remember if I bought it making that noise or if it gradually started doing it but that video was taken last winter so it's been doing it a while
