Default 1997 4.2 runs worse with new coil

Replaced my coil on my 1997 4.2 and now it runs more rough than it did with the bad coil with #2 being totally dead and #6 missing. It it throwing black smoke like crazy now. It's acting like it's flooding itself to death for some reason. I just got done sinking nearly 500 bucks in it for a new crankshaft kit, a new starter, and now a new coil and it's still not running good, It's drivable but runs rough as hell. I don't know what else to do it except sticking a stick of dynamite in the gas tank and watching it go boom boom.

Think I know why it ran so rough, I forgot I had unhooked the battery and I guess I didn't give the computer enough time relearn the engine.
