Default Need torque specs for rear glass

98 f150 rear glass. Anybody know torque specs?

Are you using the butyl rubber WindoWeld rope? IDK if there are specs but I’ll check. I just tightened mine in a crisscross pattern a little at a time until snug, using a 1/4” drive shorty ratchet.

19-25 lb-in per the FSM, assuming that the specified seal is in use.

I just tightened them by feel to about the same force as to take them off. Glass guy that I was working with wasn't worried about torque specs but keeping the glass flat is a must so work in a cross pattern like putting on a tire.

I think i got a leak on mine....might try tightening before taking to glass shop. .. i suspect subwoofer could have been part of it.
