Default 12v receptacle dead

Yep, I used the search engine. Can't find my answer. So I'm counting on everyone else. Where the hell is the fuse for the 12v receptacle? I have an 03' Lariat. The cig lighter is working, they are different fuses aren't they? Can't blame a DSPO for wiring in anything or disconnecting it b/c I bought it off the lot new. Never had anything wired into it. There has to be a fuse someplace...right? I read the manual, the web, blah blah blah. Where the is it?

Mine was in the cab, though I'd have to take another look on which fuse though. I would, but it's dark and raining outside.

If it's in the cab I'm gonna lay an egg. I'd like to give myself the benefit of doubt and say I've checked them all. Which one?

I can't remember right now, as it was a good while ago. I can check tomorrow, but the weather sucks, and its pitch black outside.

Are you referring to the power port? You most likely have to find someone with an 02/03. Ford changed the fuse blocks around every other year.

On the other hand, this is the first time I've heard someone complain about fuse layout in the owners manual. Ford made it real easy in the owners.

If you don't have the Ford owners manual, -usually in the glove box, You can download one real easy.

Right.....b/c "Power Point" just screams 12v Receptacle. Thanks, I'll check it.

***UPDATE***
That did it, thanks!

Great!

Uknow, I wrote "Power Point" first in my reply...honest!

Then I changed it to "Power Port" after wrestling with it a bit. I think that's called overthinkingit.

Oh well, glad you found it.

If you look on page 82, where it discusses the auxiliary 12V outlet, that's where they use the terminology.

Glad you got it working.
