Default 03 King Ranch 4X4

So I was measuring today to get ready to crank up the Tbars... In the rear on the passenger side it was 24 1/8 while the drivers side was only 23 1/2~ roughly... And the front passenger side is 23 5/8 and the drivers side was 23 3/4... So it was very odd imo Any idea why all these sizes are different?

lots of reasons

ground not level
old springs sagging
bushings worn
torsion bars adjusted differently
frame bent
bed not bolted on same on both sides
Wheel well trim not applied exactly same on each side
measured wrong

Well the ground was level its a slab. It could be the torsion bars adjusted differently, Ive looked the frame over before I bought it and didnt appear to have any bends or bows in it anywhere. I'll check all the bolts on the bed this weekend. Im not sure on the trim... honestly. And measured wrong is always a possibility haha.

did you jump up and down on bumper a few times to settle the suspension evenly before measuring? might make difference if things are sticky/rusty.

If it looks good to you, just adjust each side same amount.

Ill try and get some pics of the truck on each side I dont have the best vision in the world so I don't even really notice the rear end being a little high right now. I just want to be able to shove 35s in there lol.

So even though I was thinking of just cranking Tbars I heard I'd have to do some light trimming still to make 35s fit under in the front. Would this still be okay as far as not causing my front end to wear at a really fast rate vs stock

Also I don't mind if I'd be replacing front end components every 30k-50k miles since that'd only be once every few years for me lol.

Torsion bars keys wont do anything for you

Cranking torsion bars may let tires fit.......but thats as long as dont compress suspension. You need to lower bump stops too to prevent hitting when bottom out

These kits only show 33" as max for a reason....thats all that fits when suspension compresses. And you. Dont need a kit for that anyway

Ball joints and cv joints operate at increased angles full time that they werent designed too.

Price replacing cv joints before you say youd be ok with doing so.

Everything you do to squeeze larger tires on will simply weaken your truck and create undesireable side effects.

33 inch tires are the best for these trucks imo. Require no bandaids. Run on stock wheels.

See I've heard 35" are nicest thing to run on here unless I wanted to upgrade gears in my rear end also. There is a sticky dedicated to just cranking Tbars and making 35" fit on there. I figured with just a little bit more from this kit I would be able to achieve my 35s without problems.

I not much on Leveling. I think it looks stupid.

If I wanted to run bigger, id do a minimal body lift, as little as possible, Then any minor trim.

i doubt id be happy with 35s without new gears, especially if ever tow anything. Truck is already a dog with 32.8" lt285s, and I have 3.73 gears

Heres something to dream about

I may just look at a 33" on there and see how it looks. Right now when I Did the math I think the current tire is like a 31.8 so maybe a 33" or 33.5 would fit as is and still look nice. I just want something that's going to fill up that wheel well lol.
