Question 02' 5.4L fuel or fire problem?

I have an 02' crew cab Lariat with the 5.4L (160,000 mi). Recently, it started to sputter when accelerating and lit my check engine light. I ran the codes and had multiple misfires in 5 and 7 cylinders. My buddy took a sample of the gas and determined that i had gotten some bad fuel. I replaced the spark plugs, which were overdue anyway, and put some fuel treatment in my tank. truck ran great for 2 weeks (2 tanks of fuel). This past weekend it started missing again.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue, or possibly coil or coil wire issues with this model? I am starting to wonder if it was bad fuel after all, or if electrical. Any help would be appreciated.

Don't be afraid to check and replace coils. Water can seep in there and sit around the coil and spark plug and corode the connection. I have gone through a few coils already.
