Default WTB or WTT my chrome 6 bar grill for your black 6 bar

I have a chrome 6 bar grill in perfect shape on my '11 screw. Would like a black one. My paint is Ingot Silver, but any color trim is fine because I am willing to repaint.

Let me know if you wanna trade, or what you have for sale.

I'm in Seattle, WA

I'm just curious why you wouldn't just paint your chrome one?

How are hard is it to have the Chrome one repainted Jphelps, I am also in the same boat, wanting to make my XLT looks like an FX2, so I need to change out Grille, tailights, running boards and bumpers. But If I could paint most if not all of those items I think that would be easier?

They make special primers that will adhere to chrome.

Stripping real chrome off of metal? Sure.

Stripping this plastic chrome off of plastic? Not so much.

You can do it and it might look good for a few months, but it's not permanent.

Buy the black grill, and paint that. You'll be much happier in the long run.

I agree. I've never seen plastic chrome painted without it peeling off eventually. I would like to buy a black one. But I'm having trouble finding the 6 bar version...

Any help from anyone about where to buy?
